Osceola District Court

If you are looking for the district court of Clarke county and come to this court, you will not be disappointed, you are in the right place. It's in the Fifth judicial district of Iowa. IS 35 runs down the center of Clarke county and crosses us 34. For most of the way it is parallel to US 69.

With the government of this city consisting of a Mayor and Council Members elected on a non-partisan basis residents can hope that a lot gets done. The city is fortunate to have some nice natural outdoor spots. The Thomas Trail, a nature trail, winds into beautiful Grade Lake park where there is native timber and wildlife to see and fishing at the lake itself. There are more trails at Q-Pond park an area covering more than 12o acres of native habitat and park area. On the East side of the park to the Q-Pond Boat Access provides an opportunity to enjoy the fishing. For the more sports minded there is the Clarke County Recreation complex which includes the Osceola Family Aquatic center, Becky Persels Skate Park and regulation size Soccer Fields and ballfields.
