Guthrie Center District Court is more formally known as the Guthrie District Court and is the Fifth judicial district of Iowa. SR 25 and SR 44 passing through Guthrie county meet in Guthrie Center.

About the area

Guthrie Center is one of ten incorporated cities in Guthrie county which was formally established around 1851. There's a lot of noise here on two days in July when the country groups take the stage during the Guthrie's River Ruckus held over two days in July at the Guthrie County fairgrounds. A short distance to the East of Guthrie Center, on SR 44, you can find the Guthrie County Historical village in Panora. This complex includes twelve buildings and a museum with exhibits and thousands of artifacts that represent the history of Guthrie County from 1850 to the early-20th Century. You can see the competitors get down and dirty at the Mud Bog races held each year at the Guthrie County fairgrounds from May to September.
