Marshalltown District Court is formally known as the Marshall county district court. It is located in the Second Judicial district of Iowa. There is a nice group of roads in this county; US 30, SR 14, SR 96 and SR 330.

About the area

Not only can you see prairies and wetlands or pick apples right off the tree in this city; but you can also view impressionist art and visit its museums. There are some unique things to see in this town. Take for instance the Big Treehouse an edifice fashioned by its creator into a 6 story, 12 level structure with music, sound effects and a spiral stairway. The F-4 Phantom aircraft on South 6th Street was flown in Vietnam by one of Marshalltown’s residents and serves as a memorial to all veterans. The Fisher Community Center Art gallery has a collection of original Impressionist and Post-Impressionist paintings as well as two and three-dimensional works. A little to the West of Marshalltown you can find a Main Street Commercial Historic district in State Center. The district is the site of museums, including Watson's Grocery Store, Sheppler Barbershop and Washington Township #6 Center School.
