Homedale Magistrate Court

Homedale Magistrate Court is commonly called the magistrate court of Owyhee county and is in the Third judicial circuit of Idaho. US 95, SR 19, SR 45, SR 51, SR 78 and SR 167 run into or through Owyhee county.

Homedale lies along the banks of the Snake river. Jump Creek Canyon, South of Homedale, is characterized by its waterfall that pours over a steep wall of rock at the mouth of the canyon to the pool at its base. The pool is deep enough for swimmers to enjoy and cool off in during those hot Summer months. Another water spot South of the city but with a different temperature is the hot mineral water swimming pool at Givens Hot Springs. This facility also has picnic and camping areas. Back in the city you can enjoy indoor swimming at the Homedale Community Swimming pool or at the city’s outdoor pool in Riverside park. Sundance park is the site of many baseball, softball, and soccer tournaments. Homedale City park provides a different atmosphere fro recreation. In addition to its tennis courts; it has barbeque facilities and picnic tables.
