If you are looking for some good old fashioned fun, come to the annual Antique Farm Machinery Show and Threshing Bee in July. This fair, sponsored by the Jewell County Historical Society, starts off with a parade and has lots of craft booths, tractor pull, wheat threshing, working sawmill, blacksmithing, food and concessions. Don't miss the chainsaw artists with the great scultures he creates.
