Washington District Court is the Twelfth District Court of Washington County in the judicial district court system of Kansas.

About the area

The city has a very unuaual park for the kids called Munchkinland Playground. This facilty, with its Kansas/Oz theme, has a poppy field entrance, Emerald Castle, tornado slide, witches castle, monkey trapeze, tunnels, mazes, swings, an enclosed play area for toddlers and is accessible for those with disabilities. There are also red poppies at the entrance, flying monkeys on the witch’s castle, the wicked witch inside the castle and the Wizard of Oz characters on the playground as well as shelter houses. There is a fitness trail around the edge of Munchkinland, which is a handicap accessible walking path and 12 fitness stations.
