The Bestie Trail is now modified with all the modern amenities but it was once walked by the Native Indians who traveled from State to State. These Trails still lead to all those places visited by the Indians. Actually these are the official American Short routes or the shortest route possible. Also visit the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. It is a huge park however the bears are not actually sleeping here and they are very much up and about. You need to venture into the deep woods for the hope of finding one. Otherwise be safe and you are safe.
