The Hennepin County Court is Division I of the Hennepin County District Court. The Hennepin County Court has jurisdiction over all misdemeanor and gross misdemeanor criminal and traffic charges issued in the City of Minneapolis, City of St. Anthony, and Hennepin County Parks. IS 35W, IS 94 and IS 394 are the major roads which wind their way through Minneapolis. |

Minneapolis is one of the largest cities in the Northwest with a population of over 380,000 and an area of 55 square miles. The city can boast of 11 museums running the gamut in diversity from the Hennepin History museum and Weisman Art museum to the Minnesota Streetcar museum. The city's Aquatennial annual summer festival; the official civic celebration of the City of Minneapolis, held each July, is replete with a parade, milk carton boat races, fireworks and road races. This is the place where both the famous Mall of America and the University of Minnesota both live. |
