The official name of the McLeod County court is the McLeod County District Court. State Road 22 runs to the center of town from the West then turns South; but the major road running through the Southern part of town is US Hway. 212. |
| About the area |
Two major events held in Glencoe are Glencoe Days and Dairy Day. Glencoe Days, held each June features Friday night fireworks, a Saturday car show, children’s carnival and live music. The celebration, held in Oak Leaf Park, culminates with a parade on Sunday. Dairy Day celebrates the contributions of the dairy industry and is held towards the end of June. This festival, which coincides with National Dairy day, presents a Dairy Day breakfast, free ice cream, and a variety of other dairy related items.
