Scott County District Court is the official name of the Scott County court. County Road 101 runs along the North side of town then veers south (becoming Johnson Memorial drive) to eventually meet US Hway 169 which runs runs along the Southern part of town. |

Shakopee, which was incorporated in the 1850's, is situated on the Minnesota River. Canterbury Park is just the place for the gambler in you. With live horse racing and year round Casino Games, Poker and Simulcast racings there is plenty of oppotunity for the betting crowd and entertaining as well. The city operated Shakopee Ice Arena hosts hockey games, recreational skating, lessons, camps, and tournaments by local and surrounding community organizations. The Shakopee Skate Park is a skate boarders paradise with equipment, such as a Piano wedge, only a true skate boarder can appreciate.
