About the area

The annual Pumpkin fest held in this city late in September is a fun thing. It's heavy in pumpkins with Pumpkin, races, a Pumpkin cook-off and a pie auction. But there is also a horseshoe tournament, kiddie train rides, lawnmower races, a scavenger hunt, vendors and live entertainment. The city has the distinction of having won the award for handicap accessibility enhancement from the Coalition for Recreational Trails for its Pott's Memorial Park Trail Project.
