About the area

Viburnum is located in the middle of the Mark Twain National Forest of the Ozark Mountains. The park offers many opportunities for camping and hiking. A visit to the large Greer Spring is awe inspiring. Its flow originates from an upper outlet in the side of a Dolomite cliff and a lower outlet from the bed of the spring branch. On the first weekend in October, Viburnum celebrates its annual Old Miner's Day with the Miss Viburnum contest, parade, car show and free mine tours in addition to the crafters and good food.
