About the area

Sumrall lies just below the Lamar-Covington county borders and has a fairly sizable population, of over 1400, for a small town; probably a nice place to live. It is among the least stressful places in the US. Its downtown is small consisting of three blocks of buildings but it does include a station of the Longleaf Trace which is quite attractive. There are new housing developments spread throughout the town.
