| About the area |
North of Wiggins, just above the Fleet Creek Reservoir, is a site which attracts many residents of Wiggins as well as visitors from throughout Mississippi. Flint Creek Water Park covers close to 1900 total acres and has a 600 acre lake stocked with bass, bream, crappie and catfish. There are facilities for boating, water skiing and swimming. The Water Town in the park has kiddie water slides and adult giant water slides. Landlubbers need not feel left out with over 150 fully developed camping spurs, more than 30 vacation cabins, and a dozen camp houses. Wild turkey, deer, squirrels, and ducks and other waterfowl can be seen along the the nature trail.
