About the area

Incorporated in the early 19th century, this community connected by the Interstate 85 has around 147000 residents and is a very colorful suburb home of the Reed Gold Mine, a National Historic Landmark. With a total area of 365 square miles of territory, this county was named after Stephen Cabarrus and it is served by the Cabarrus County School System for the primary education; while the "big leagues" are managed by the Barber-Scotia College, the Cabarrus College of Health Sciences, and the UNC Charlotte. Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast watches over the health of all the residents of this territory while the Concord Mills Mall is the "fashion" center of Cabarrus.
