Goldsboro formerly named Waynesborough and "Goldsborough's Junction", is the place where having a peaceful life and a good career seem to be possible and not just a dream. This territory incorporated in the 1840s is located approximately 40 minutes away from Raleigh and it is home of the Seymour Johnson Air Force Base built in 1942. With more than 38000 residents and almost 25 square miles of territory, this community has a population density of 1575 inhabitants per square mile. Goldsboro city is known as "G-Town", "G-Boro", and "Da Boro" which is constantly inviting the neighboring communities to visit its lovely Cliffs of the Neuse State Park, the amazing infrastructure of the Waynesborough Historical Village, and the Herman Park green areas.
