About the area |
Green Island is part of the blue collar area near Albany along the Hudson, and is closely connected with Menands, Cohoes, Watervliet, Waterford and Troy. It is also home to the area congressman, Mike McNulty, who will be retiring at the end of 2008. McNulty was sort-of the nemesis of this site's founder, who ran for Congress twice. Sort-of, because the election results weren't exactly close, so McNulty wasn't really worried about his opponent. |
