About the area |
Almond (pop. 1,600) is on the eastern edge of the county, at the intersection of Interstate 86 (aka Route 17) and NY Rt.21. Most of the population is clustered around the highways, with a few farms scattered around the edges. The Town of Almond is a lovely spot, mostly rural, with a lively landscape. |
