About the area |
Angelica is a small town just north of Belmont, the county seat. It is Allegany Couny's oldest town, and also contains the village of Angelica. Both the Southern Tier Expressway (Exit 31) and the Genesee River run through the town. The town is named after Alexander Hamilton's sister in law, Angelica Church. |
