I-81 runs along the other side of the town line, so this court doesn't get nearly as many traffic cases as nearby Kirkwood. First time we've seen this, but they're on Facebook. Of course that gives different hours than the website. |

About the area |
Every Sunday throughout the summer, Conklin hosts Jimay's Flea Market, one of the largest in Broome County. On Tuesday evenings there are Concerts in the Park. September brings the Conklin Town Fair. The Town of Conklin separated from the Town of Chenango in 1824. It's largest village is the village of Conklin. The Castle (circa 1900), a home built by Alpheus Corby after a trip to England, was later bought by area philanthropist George F. Johnson as a home for underpriviledged children. In the '40's, Johnson donated the Castle to the town as a community center. Currently a community center and museum. |
