We think this court may not be that busy, with under 40 residents. How did they manage to find two judges? They must be related. But per comment (below), the court is actually quite busy and the judges are well educated. |

About the area |
Red House, once a lumbering community, now has only 38 residents. It has the lowest population of any community in New York. A good part of the township is within the Allegany State Park. Interstate 86 runs through the town, plus NY Route 280. With nearly 40,000 acres in the town, the average resident has 1000 acres (but see user comment at very bottom). The Bay State Company used to dominate the town. |
