Austerlitz Town Court, like many traffic courts in Columbia County, gets a lot of speeding tickets from drivers on the Taconic State Parkway. Nice court. Courthouse/town hall is close to the road with limited parking in front. Best to park on the street nearby. Not too much traffic on that road, so don't worry. |

About the area |
The Town of Austerlitz is just east of the village and town of Chatham, and pushes up against the state of Massachusetts. Doesn't seem like a very populated town. Nowhere to eat near the Court, so you go about 5 miles to get into Chatham (but don't speed in Chatham -- the judge there has a reputation). |
Hours of Operation |
Court is held every Wed at 7pm. The second Wed criminal matters are at 6:30 & traffic is at 7pm. No court the last Wed of the month |
