About the area |
Mount Utsayantha and the Churchill Park Historic Distric are attractions to the Stamford village. The mountain is a wonderful area to hike, bike, jog, and just relax. Many people from all over the state come each summer to enjoy what the mountain has to offer. The Churchhill Park Historic District was built in the 1800's. The hotel that was once there the Rexmere, housed many prominent citizens of Stamford. Many tourists come to visit the old homes and take a walk through the park there. |
