Gloversville has a surprising amount of drug-related crime compared to its small population, as well as assault, larceny, vandalism, and DWI. Parking for the court is on the north side of the City Hall. |

About the area |
Gloversville was so named because its factories produced, at its peak, about one-third of the world's gloves. This number has gone down from then, but it is still a major glovemaking and glove distribution center. It's a fairly small city of only 15,000 in the northern area of Johnstown (the town). |
