About the area |
Town settled in 1793 in a small rural farm area. Lots of dairy farms although people do raise sheep, pigs, horses, and different types of crops. Mostly potatoes and corn but also cauliflower, broccoli, alfalfa, and hay is grown. Safe area to raise kids with a good school system. Lots of places to run, swim, and camp. Area churches and community involvement provide entertainment to the people of the town. Best time to visit is in the summer. |
