The State Courts think the correct address is 126 East Orchard Street, which is the police address (their # is 895-7566). Everything we look at suggests 110 Railroad Street, which is where the village offices are. In any event they're almost next door, and may even be the same building, because we've seen the police at the 110 Railroad address. |

About the area |
Little village of about 2500 people near the Albert N. Russell park. Name of the village came from Lawrence (Lewis) Frank who founded the town around 1796 or 1798. Village consists of a couple of churches, a school, and town meeting place. Carl Myers, started a farm in the 1800s where he experimented with hot air balloons. He practiced aeronautics and used the farm for this purpose. And the village even has its own electric company to supply electricity to the villagers. Shocking! |
