About the area |
Wonderful small communities of Manheim and Dolgeville are situated next door to each other. Rich history of German immigrants settling area in 1797. Population of Manheim over 3000 and Dolgeville over 2000. Good area to visit in the summer for good food and entertainment. Near lakes and rivers for picnics and hiking. The Erie Canal is part of this area and passes right through the towns. Neat canal to take a look at and enjoy the wildlife in the area. |
