About the area |
About 922 people live in this small town in Central New York. Several churches, a town store, and post office make up the town. It is near a reservoir that provides water to the area towns. Wonderful small town atmosphere with warm and friendly people. Established in 1823 and it was called the Town of West Brunswick then. The townspeople changed its name in the coming years to Norway. Somewhere in there it might have been Wilmurt too, not related to the huge retail store of similar name. Hinckley Reservoir nearby. |
