About the area |
Pamelia is situated near the City of Watertown and the Fort Drum military installation. Fred Exley lived in the stone house at Pamelia Four Corners in the NE part of town (intersection of Route 37 and Jenkins Road). He wrote "A Fan's Notes" one of the great counter-culture novels of the 1960's. Many nice old limestone houses houses can be found in this area. They were built to last. Judge Austin recently passed away. He was the Judge here for 22 years. A fine judge and a real gentleman. |
