Aug 05 2008 21:04:46: The Great Neck Plaza Village Court has the most outrageous penalties on parking tickets. They are worse then the IRS. It's criminal that they are allowed to get away with charging these penalties. A $15.00 ticket ended up costing $110.00 in less then 10 months. Payment was made several times and weeks later checks were returned VOID, of course with more penalties added. Nice racket they have going on. Just another corrupt office in Nassau County. No wonder everyone is moving off the Island.
