Another candidate for busiest justice court in New York State. According to OCA, this one is the king, with nearly $3 million in revenue. That was 2006. In 2007 Southampton Town Court took the crown. Is that what courts should brag about? See comments below ... we had the phone numbers wrong (they were probably correct and then the court changed) and someone was real cranky about that. About the area |
Hempstead history dates back to the 1600s. The village is within the town of the same name. Diverse ethnicity, with plenty of African and Latino heritage. Hofstra University is here too. Rumored to be a fair amount of crime originating in the various ares of the village, including Parkside and The Heights. |
