About the area |
A pretty large village, Lynbrook is within the Town of Hempstead and was originally called Pearsalls until it was incorporated as Lynbrook (from Brooklyn - get it?). Also the setting for some TV show with Ray Romano - his TV wife is funnier. Sunrise Highway goes right through Lynbrook and the Westwood Depot station for the Long Island Railroad is on the north edge of the village. |
