About the area |
Richfield Springs name is derived from some local sulfur springs. It holds a population of 1,200 or so. The Village borders on Canadarago Lake. Sunset Hill is where Cyrus McCormick from Chicago New York architectural firm of McKim, Mead, and White built a shingle-style "cottage" for his family on the edge of the village. |
