The least busy of the New York City criminal courts, it still has a lot going on. The Supreme Courthouse of Staten Island is an impressive structure in Roman neoclassical style architecture. Designated a NYC landmark, it is located across the street from the Ferry Terminal. |

About the area |
While it has the smallest population of the five boroughs of New York City, Staten Island is sometimes best known for its very large landfill. It also has some beautiful open spaces, and a lot of water around it. Also considered more homogeneous - but this probably just means more white with less minorities. Some say a lot of NYC cops live here too. |
