A very small village patrolled (rarely) by Ramapo Town police officers. Most common violations are stop sign violations. There is only one traffic light in New Square at the entrance. Crime is virtually non-existent in the village. Court meets only occasionally, as there are very few tickets issued in the village. Village packs nearly 5000 people into 2/5 of a square mile. |
