About the area |
Least overdeveloped area in the county, Conesville retains much of the beauty and farmland that brought settles to what became known as "The Breadbasket of the Revolution", supply much of the foodstuffs the Continental Army needed. Scenic vistas with historical markers noting famous locales, including the Richtmyer Tavern, circa 1789, believed to be the oldest building in the county. The Long Path North hiking trail follows the ridges. |
