Home of Revolutionary War hero Timothy Murphy, and site of the Upper Fort, one of three to help protect the settlers from Indians and British attacks (along with Middle Fort in Middleburg, Lower Fort in Schoharie). Near Max V. Shaul State Park and Vroman's Nose. You'd think the Town of Fulton would be in Fulton County or perhaps near the village of Fultonville. You'd be wrong. :-) |
