Industrial town on the Canadian border. Alcoa and Reynolds are major employers. St. Lawrence river is the main attraction with the Seaway locks and dam attracting many visitors. You can see large ocean liners go through the locks to the Atlantic Ocean. Ships from all over the world. Great hiking, camping, and fishing. Robert Moses State Park is a good place to visit for a picnic. Lots of shopping, a movie theater, and historical area of Massena will round out your visit to the area. Montreal, Quebec and Cornwall, Ontario right over the border. Also, take in the area casino on the St. Regis Mohawk reservation, attend a PowWow too, and take in the beautiful heritage of our Native American neighbors! Come visit Massena!
