Located off I-86, at the intersection of Rtes 21 & 36, Hornell City is known as "Maple City" for its maple lined streets. In 1790 or so, Judge George Hornell bought a bunch of land; by the late 1800s, the village had grown to a city. Hornell Airport is the largest in Steuben County. |
