About the area |
Originally called Federal Hollow because of the political influences, it got renamed after revolutionary parties. Rushville constitutes the natural population bridge between Yates county and Ontario county. Some doctor named Mark or something Romanesque like that was a very gentle and caring son of Rushville; and he became known as a humanitarian.
