About the area |
The Town formerly known as Reading, it became a part of the county one year after the organization of the territories of Yates County. The residents of Starkey may easily provide grains, vegetables and fruits (grapes, strawberries, black berries, etc) to its population due the fertile land and the high productivity which constitutes the main reliance of many families for support and progress.
