About the area

Fayette county on the whole has a small village atmosphere and is appealing to any one with its open spaces surrounded by rural communities. There are many things happening in Fayette county like fairs and festivals like the Scarecrow festival, Windmill days and of course the 4th of July celebrations. Each festival has its own unique specialties and features. The Eyman Park is home to Engine # 2776 which is a majestic steam engine donated to Fayette county back in 1960. The park also features a community swimming pool. This is not the only park, there are many others like Chrisman Park and Veterans Park which are worth visiting. For shopping there is a huge outlet mall in Jeffersonville.
