Wicked speed traps here, with more than four times as many cases as residents.
Not to be confused with the similarly named village in Illinois.
About the area
This village is part of the Cincinnati metro area, filled with the influence of German and American ancestries. Almost 900 inhabitants have made this small territory their home, becoming the neighbors of several communities such as Lockland, Reading, and Gold Manor. The economic situation in this community denotes the urgency of new industrial developments and screams for an active local government.

Jul 26 2010 22:51:37: Speed trap!
Jan 21 2010 23:09:44: "Wicked speed traps" is an understatement! The speed limit drops to 55 on I75 through this tiny village and the police are cold as ice. I told the officer who pulled me over I was trying to hury home so that my unemployed husband could use our only car to get to a job interview - like he cared, ha! $134 for doing 71 in a 55 could have bought groceries for a week! When someone is unemployed for 10 months, thats a huge amount of money. He could have at least given me the minimum fine - I am 53 years old and have no prior record of any kind!
