Lake County as the name suggests is full of lakes and parks. This is because it is on the banks of Lake Erie. You find lakes of all sizes here right from the biggest to the smallest. There is a light house and beach and every form of entertainment revolves around these landscapes. However in winter it does get unbearably cold. There is a lot of Finnish population here. The Holden Arboretum in Kirkland with the its small rolling trains is an interesting area to visit. Lake County is nicknamed as the nursery capital of Ohio ecause of the Arboretums and active botanist groups
