Maumee is a small town indeed with a small town charm too. Tucked away in a small nook of scenic Toledo, one could discover a world of possibilities here. The indoor theater hosts a plenty of interesting shows and theater performances. The Maumee Battlefield Park serves as a picnic area along with apiece of history of Ohio. Of course home to the Maumee River and named so because it is the closest to the river, there is plenty to do by the banks when it is not snowing. If you have done everything in this small town then head to the neighborhood towns in Toledo which could keep you busy for days.
