The City of Norton was the traveling path for many Indians who explored the Cuyahoga River, this community is full of legends and stories whispered by the tree branches. The actual territory of Norton was part of the Wolf Creek Township, divided in the early 1800's into several smaller territories, giving birth to this town of 20 square miles of land.
