Are you tired of telling the difference between the short grass prairie and the tall grass prairie? Then visit the Short grass Prairie Museum. It is one of the distinguishing landmarks of Sayre. Located in Downtown Sayre in the Rock Island Depot, it is a beautiful ancient building and a historic site in itself. The architecture speaks of a character from the bygone era, and the museum inside is forever changing its displays and the vistas. It is quite mesmerizing to be here. Leaving the differences of the grass alone, you know you are from Oklahoma once you start saying y’all.
