About the area

Four streams meet in Heppner, which sits near the base of the Blue Mountains ; Balm Fork, Hinton Creek, Willow Creek, and Shobe Creek. Most of its over 1400 residents are employed in agriculture, timber, government and manufacturing. There's a 20 foot shamrock in the middle of Heppner so you know the community's Irish heritage. Every March, the city holds the "A Wee Bit O’Ireland" celebration. The first day of this event begins with an all you can eat breakfast at the St. Patricks Senior center. At 1PM the the Great Green parade kicks off with antique and classic cars included. From then on the festivities continue.

Judges

The Judges of the Sixth District Circuit Court are elected in both Umatilla and Morrow Counties, and thus serve in both circuit courts. The judges take turns hearing cases in Morrow County.
