About the area

Edward Everett really made his way in this community which was named after him and was formerly known as Bloody Run due to a very crude battle. This sad chapter in their history is part of their past, and this municipality is the proud father of more than 1900 inhabitants. If you ever happen to be in the area, take some time to shop at the downtown area and visit the amazing Mid State Trail which has become one of the most attractive tourist points being the longest hiking trail in the State of Pennsylvania.
