About the area

The Standing Stone State Park covers a huge area of the Cumberland Region. It is quite a rustic park with many wildflowers filling the landscape and fossils and it is a beautiful area that if full of natural diversity. There is an eight foot tall rock standing near the ledge and historically this stone was used to mark the boundary of two Indian nations.
